Saturday is nearly here. If September nursery places have been on your to-do list, this is your reminder to come and see Rowans in person before the day arrives.
Our Open Day runs Saturday 22nd August, 10:00am to 12:00pm. No booking, no forms to fill in beforehand. Just turn up, have a look round, and ask us whatever is on your mind. Prefer a quieter one-to-one visit instead? You can also book a private nursery tour any weekday.
What you will see on the day
We keep it simple and honest. No sales pitch, just a proper look at the setting your child could be joining.
- Walk through the playrooms and gardens exactly as they are day to day.
- Meet the practitioners who would actually be caring for your child.
- Get a plain-English rundown of our EYFS curriculum and how play fits into it.
- Step into the baby, toddler and preschool rooms and see what suits your child’s age.
- Check what 15 and 30-hour funded places we still have open for September.
- Fire off any question you have about settling in, routines, or start dates.
Why this Saturday matters
September places are going. If you want time to settle your child in before term starts, now is the point to act. An Open Day visit gives you a real feel for the nursery in about twenty minutes, far more useful than scrolling through photos online. When you are ready, you can apply for a place straight after your visit.

Do I need to book a place at the nursery open day?
No booking is needed. Drop in any time between 10:00am and 12:00pm on Saturday 22nd August and a member of the team will show you round.
What should I bring to the Rowans Nursery open day?
Just bring yourself, your child if you would like to, and any questions about funding, settling in, or start dates. Nothing needs to be filled in beforehand.
Is there another open day if I miss Saturday 22nd August?
Yes. A second Open Day is running on Saturday 5th September, 10:00am to 12:00pm. Call 0121 354 1752 if you would like to discuss options before then.
Are September places still available at Rowans Nursery?
Some September places remain, including spaces for 15 and 30-hour funded childcare, but they are filling quickly. Visiting the open day is the fastest way to check availability.
