We’re delighted to announce that Rowans Day Nursery will once again be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support with our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday, 24th September. This initiative not only fosters a sense of community but also plays a significant role in raising vital funds for individuals affected by cancer. This much-loved event is part of a nationwide fundraising effort that unites people over a simple but powerful idea: coffee, cake, and community spirit – all in aid of an incredible cause, the Macmillan Coffee Morning Sutton Coldfield. We invite you to share your favourite recipes and bring along your special bakes.
A Morning to Make a Difference
From 7:30 am to 10:00 am, we’ll be serving fresh coffee and inviting families, friends, and neighbours to either sit down for a chat or grab a drink to take away. Every cup poured and every slice of cake enjoyed will help raise funds for Macmillan’s vital work supporting people living with cancer. Imagine the joy of sharing stories over a warm cup of coffee, all while contributing to a noble cause.
How You Can Get Involved
Additionally, we will feature a raffle with exciting prizes, providing another avenue for attendees to support this important cause. Tickets will be available for purchase throughout the morning. All proceeds will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
There are lots of ways to show your support, and we appreciate every contribution:
- Join us on the day – enjoy coffee, cake, and good company.
- Donate – contributions can be made in cash or via our QR code, which will be available throughout the morning.
- Bake or bring a treat – donations of cakes and biscuits are very welcome. Please bring these in during the week beginning 22nd September. For homemade items, we kindly ask that you provide a list of ingredients for allergy purposes.
