At Rowans Day Nursery we will ensure that every child at our nursery receives the highest quality care. We will make sure that our premises are safe and secure, giving children the opportunity to freely play and learn whilst parents have peace of mind that their child is safe.

We will strive to ensure that every unique child’s individual needs are met, which we will do by observing and planning their daily activities based upon their interests and abilities.

Our staff will nurture and support each child throughout their time at nursery, ensuring their holistic development and emotional wellbeing.

Our education environments

We believe making strong relationships and friendships is a fundamental part to growing up at Rowans Day Nursery, our practitioners will engage and support your child to feel a strong sense of self within their nursery.

Baby Unit

Baby unit is on the first floor and has a range of bright rooms for the babies to explore.

Nursery

Located on the ground floor and is separated into three separate classrooms for the different ages and abilities of the children.

Pre-school

Pre-school unit is located on the ground floor and is separated into four classrooms for the different abilities with at least one classroom being the transition to school room.

We have a fantastic outdoor space that caters for all areas of learning and development of your children, with risky play encouraged using the variety of equipment available.

We encourage children to lead their play as well as being facilitated by the practitioners.

The facilities are well maintained, and the generous garden with multiple play areas suited to all ages allows the children to play outside all year round. The staff have been wonderful across all the different age groups with the manager and deputies who are regularly on the floor interacting with the children and families.
